Materiaal

The WoodyMaps are made of birch plywood. The thickness of the wood varies by product:

Unframed:

• Small, Medium: 4mm Birch
• Large, Extra Large: 6mm Birch

With List:

• Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large: 3mm Birch

For the larger WoodyMaps, a thicker material was chosen so they won't warp. For the WoodyMaps with frame, a thin material has been chosen so they will easily fit into any frame.

Gravure

This map was done by line engraving.

• With line engraving the streets and tracks are burned into the wood as a thin line with the tracks being burned slightly deeper. The water and the map itself are carved out.

Frame

Woody Map With or without frame:

• Unframed: The Woody Map comes with a hanging system and a stand. This allows the map to be hung or set down. The hanging system is mounted on the back of the map. We normally supply the same color stand as the card, if you would like a different color stand please let us know as a note with your order.
• With frame: The Woody Map has no hanging system on the back and comes without a stand. The frame does, of course, have a hanging system and features real glass. A black background is placed behind the WoodyMaps. It can also be chosen to remove the entire background.

Should you have a own list want to use, please indicate that as a note with your order. We will ensure that no hanging system is mounted on the back of the WoodyMap, making it easy to fit into your own frame.

Shipping

The Woody Map will be prepared for shipment within 1 to 3 days within the Netherlands. If we have your choice in stock, it will be shipped the same day. If the card (or list) is not in stock, we will make it right as soon as possible.
